Food, Services, Fun Things I Love & Recommend

This page is all about the stuff I love. These are services I use or have used that I find healthy and absolutely love. I am affiliated with some of these, and not with others. That means that some of the links below, if you use them, and purchase, I do get a little compensation. I do not recommend or share any products or services I have not tried or love.

Thrive Market

This is an amazing source of very healthy, clean, and primarily organic products. These are pantry staple type of items (with options to choose fresh meats). I use this service to get me pantry items that I cannot buy at my local farmer’s market. They have a free month trial, then a yearly subscription. But you can get free shipping on any order of $49. If you use pantry items monthly – which you should if you are cooking real food – this is a great way to avoid mass market grocery stores and get access to clean, and CHEAPER THAN MAJOR STORE, organic foods.

Twin Maple Farm – Locally Grown and Processed Beef

Central New York Regional Farmer’s Market
Check out the site for the weekly hours and times. We attend every Saturday morning.

HelloFresh

I absolutely loved HelloFresh. Although I no longer use the service it was THE THING that got me cooking, well, and learning about portions and servings, and eating cleaner food. I was overwhelmed by meal planning, and cooking when I started out with clean eating and HelloFresh got me on the right track.

Deliciously Organic – Blog

This blog, and her cookbook, are amazing for those with thyroid issues, or those looking to go grain free. The recipes taste great, and are super clean and amazingly healthy.

Live Simply – Blog

This is a great blog for clean recipes for homemade cleaners, homemade cosmetics, as well as whole foods eating. If you want to go back to real foods, the way your great great grandparents ate – this is for you. They are simple meals, for busy people and taste great.

Primal Blueprint – Book & Cookbook

This is focused on eating clean, and eating as close to the earth as possible. It is all about eliminating processed foods, eliminating grains, and eating like our caveman like ancestors. It’s not weird or odd, just very clean and healthy – but delicious. Some treats included as well – friendly to all types of dietary needs such as paleo, keto etc. Grab the book and cookbook!
