Work with me
Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioners are trained to interpret foundational imbalances in the body and use diet, lifestyle, and supplemental nutrients to bring the body back into balance.
As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner I help clients achieve results by:
- Beginning with a thorough health history and re-assessing whenever necessary
- Focusing on the root cause, rather than managing each individual symptom
- Working systematically to address foundational body systems in order of importance
- Educating clients on lifestyle modifications that compliment the nutritional protocols we decide on together
- Empowering the client to be their own wellness advocate in the process of resolving health imbalances
Comprehensive Health History – we talk together to identify major stressors, clients biggest health concerns, and simple ways for them to get started with a change they want to make to feel better. This process helps me understand their history (family and personally), as well as exposures, illnesses and more that help me determine what path to lead them on for a healthier life.
Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ) – This comprehensive symptom survey helps me see where the client is today in their health, and what paths need more exploration as we work together on a plan that they choose that works for them.
Food & Mood Journal -this is a journal of what they eat and how it makes them feel over the course of a few days. This helps me determine ways to help them optimize their nutrition to combat some of the symptoms they are having.
Functional Clinical Assessment (FCA)– The FCA is a hands on evaluation technique. Through the FCA I will use a series of palpations to assess stress in different organ systems and test the effectiveness of supplemental nutrients.
Laboratory Testing – it may be necessary for me to direct clients to obtain certain lab tests based on the findings of the assessments we do together.
My goal is to help your patients tackle their imbalances as you continue to work with them on their specific conditions and concerns. It’s a busy world, and your time with patients is limited. This type of addition to your practice can help your patients feel heard, understood and finally begin to tackle some of the behavior change they need to live longer, more fulfilling lives.
Working with an FNTP on balancing these body systems can help your patients achieve results in:
* Blood sugar control
* Metabolic control
* Weight management
* Autoimmune symptom control
* Inflammation control
* Digestive issues
* Vitamin & Mineral balance
* Hormone Imbalance
* Psychological symptoms
Through the assessment process to the work process, supplementation can also be done to help clients maximize their results. This would be done in conjunction with you as their practitioner.
